A prelude to a murder of Pantomimes

The truth that never was ….
The words that meant nothing more than the wall of air they hit when they leave lips
The way they run from reality because it is less palitable than fantasy.
I ask you all …”Is life a random series of events or a tapistry of bitter sweet events that amulgamate into a divine plan called “your life”?

I remember all those nights, a glove around my heart made of ice
wandering aimlessly thru my days, in this confused little maze (called life).
The day was just another day, as i sipped coffee; watched people pass my way
Living my lies a moment at a time , a man without a voice – this pantomime.

Summer came fast  and we tried hard to be young
But Laughter froze in mouths that forgot their tongues
We sat around all day and poked fake fun
The murder of the pantomimes has begun
… begun … begun…begun…

Then i saw you standing there, i just had to stop and stare
And forget the exterior that i had created, I couldnt believe what i felt (I was elated).
You came upto me and opened my mouth, you recognized me too , there was no doubt.
That day begain our merry dance, toe to toe and laughter trance.

Summer came fast  and we tried hard to be young
But Laughter froze in mouths that forgot their tongues
We sat around all day and poked fake fun
The murder of the pantomimes has begun
… begun … begun…begun…

The love and promises didnt last very long, disappearing of the page like the words to this song,
I sat surrounded by life and you, and watch love leave – there wasnt anything i could do.
Every lie and hateful unspoken word, built walls around the hearts where our love stirred.
Evicted every feeling and emotion we had, forgetting why we “were”..when the end came i was glad.

Summer came fast  and we tried hard to be young
But Laughter froze in mouths that forgot their tongues
We sat around all day and poked fake fun
The murder of the pantomimes has begun
… begun … begun…begun…

The veil had been cast over our blind eyes, and all i heard you speak were terrible lies
You tried to make peace with apology and act, i closed myself to you without any tact.
We sat huddled apart in afraid silence of night, and thought private thoughts of past lovers and kites.
Our silence became reality and angels cry, because they all know the truth – “We let the good times die”

Summer came fast  and we tried hard to be young
But Laughter froze in mouths that forgot their tongues
We sat around all day and poked fake fun
The murder of the pantomimes has begun
… begun … begun…begun…
The murder of the pantomimes has begun.
